Cost-share & Incentive programs
The Polk Soil and Water Conservation District and the Natural Resources Conservation Service administer state and federal cost share and incentive programs for soil conservation and water quality projects in Polk County. Contact us to discuss options or arrange for a site visit with a conservationist. To apply for cost-share, please call or visit the USDA Service Center in Ankeny to get assistance with the application process. Applications can be taken at anytime.
State Cost-Share Funds The Polk SWCD manages the State Cost Share programs. State Loan Programs The Polk SWCD coordinates the loans in cooperation with financial institutions and the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship (IDALS) Division of Soil Conservation. Federal Conservation Programs The Natural Resources Conservation Service administers federal programs with the cooperation of the Polk SWCD. |
