Rain Barrels-Manage Your Rain water 

 Polk Soil and Water Conservation District is now selling rain barrels! 

Rainwater is directed off our properties and picks up pollutants as it flows to streams.  We then pay for drinking water to irrigate our landscapes.  The simple way to start harvesting rainwater is to install a rain barrel.  Rain barrels are connected to downspouts and the water is stored for watering yards and gardens. Check out our brochure!  RainBarrelSales2010.pdf
